Lily worked at Hargreaves China Shop on Underbank with Betty Gardner(Flintham) Lily was therefore known to family before Paul met Carol.
Paul also went to Banks Lane School and was in the same class as Timothy Gardner.
Paul was in the country dancing class and danced at Stockport Town Hall. He received an endevour award at school for his swimming!!!
Paul worked for Williams and Glyns Bank when leaving school at 18, the bank later mergered to become The Royal Bank of Scotland plc he met Carol while working at Marple Branch in 1982. engaged 10/12/83.
Paul left the bank in 1988 to work for Eric Atherton in the Market before buying the business himself in 1989.
